Biography

Ernst Dinkelmann was a fiery, all-out Northern Transvaal lock who played six Tests between 1951 and 1953. Born in Ermelo on 14 May 1927, he scored tries against Scotland and France on the 1951–52 tour. He later became a respected rugby administrator. He died on 22 October 2010.
