Biography

Lawrence Sephaka was a strong loose-head prop who played 24 Tests between 2001 and 2006. Born in Johannesburg on 8 August 1978, he took up rugby at 13 and played for the Lions. He was one of the first black African props to play for the Springboks and was voted South African Players’ Player of the Year in 2002. He played at the 2003 World Cup.
