Biography

André Snyman was a fast, direct outside centre who played 38 Tests between 1996 and 2006. Born in Newcastle on 2 February 1974, he played for the Bulls, the Sharks and Leeds.

He scored a hat-trick against Tonga in 1997 and tries against the 1997 British Isles side, France, England and Scotland. He returned to Test rugby in 2006 after a long gap and scored against Scotland. He scored ten Test tries.
