Biography
Sep Ledger never lost a Test. A Kimberley forward born on 29 April 1889 and educated at Kimberley Boys’ High, he worked for De Beers and played for Pirates and Griqualand West.
He played four Tests on the 1912–13 Grand Slam tour, against Scotland, Ireland, England and France, and scored a try in the 38–5 win in Bordeaux. He died on 13 April 1917, during the First World War, aged 27.
