Biography

Saturday Knight was a dependable Transvaal forward who played in all five Tests on the 1912–13 Grand Slam tour. Born in Burgersdorp on 16 December 1885 and educated at SACS, he played for Pirates. He later took up refereeing and officiated a match on the 1924 British Isles tour. He died on his farm near White River on 1 July 1946.
