Biography

Gert Muller was a strong-running wing who played 14 Tests between 1969 and 1974. Born in Vryheid on 10 May 1948 and educated at Port Natal, he played for Western Province and Transvaal. He scored two tries in the 14–3 win over New Zealand in 1970 and another in the 20–17 win at Ellis Park that clinched that series. He toured Britain in 1969–70 and Australia in 1971.
