Biography
Dai Williams was a right wing who joined the 1931–32 tour as an 18-year-old replacement and later became a Test try-scorer. Born in Mowbray on 16 June 1913 and educated at Diocesan College (Bishops), he played for Western Province.
He won eight caps, scoring tries against Australia and twice against New Zealand on the 1937 tour, including one in the 17–6 win at Eden Park that clinched the series. He added two more against the British Isles in 1938. He died on 24 December 1975.
