Biography
Jackie Tindall was an adventurous, cheerful fullback who toured New Zealand in 1921 and Britain in 1931–32. Born in Stellenbosch on 26 March 1900 and educated at Rondebosch and Paul Roos Gymnasium, he played for Western Province.
He won five caps: one against the 1924 British Isles side and four against the 1928 All Blacks. He was known for unexpected counter-attacks from deep. His 1931–32 tour was cut short by a serious injury. He died on 3 May 1946.
