Biography

Elrigh Louw is a big, versatile Bulls forward who plays eighthman, flank and lock. Born in Pretoria on 20 September 1999 and educated at Transvalia, he was named Currie Cup Player of the Year in 2021 and was part of the Bulls sides that reached the United Rugby Championship finals.

He made his Test debut against Wales in 2022. A serious knee injury later kept him out for ten months and threatened his career, but he fought his way back into the Springbok squad in 2026.
