Biography

Birdie Partridge was born in Llanthewy Skirrid, Wales, on 13 June 1879 and educated at Dulwich College in London. He stayed in South Africa after the Anglo-Boer War, played for Transvaal, and won his only cap as a forward in the 10–10 draw with the British Isles in Johannesburg in 1903. He later returned to Wales and died on 1 July 1965.
