Biography
Willie McEwan was a Scot who stayed in South Africa after the Anglo-Boer War and went on to play for his adopted country. Born in Edinburgh on 24 October 1875 and educated at Edinburgh Academy, he represented Transvaal.
He played two Tests against the 1903 British Isles side, the 10–10 draw in Johannesburg and the 8–0 win at Newlands that secured the series. He died on 4 April 1934.
