Biography
Willem Stapelberg scored a try in each of his two Tests, the wins over France in Toulouse and Paris in 1974. Born in Pretoria on 29 January 1947, he was a compact, quick Northern Transvaal wing who scored in the 1968 Currie Cup final but whose Test hopes were held back by injuries for years.
