Biography
Piet du Plessis was a very tall Northern Transvaal lock who won his only cap in the 9–18 loss to England at Ellis Park in 1972. Born in Nylstroom on 23 July 1947 and educated at Wonderboom, he later played for Western Province and was a respected provincial stalwart. He died on 12 August 2026.
