Biography

Martiens Louw was a Transvaal prop who played the last two Tests of the unbeaten 1971 tour of Australia, both wins, at the age of 33. Born in Germiston on 20 April 1938, he played for Vereeniging and Transvaal from 1969 to 1974. He later became a Transvaal selector and coached the Vaal Triangle. He died on 12 October 2013.
