Biography
Joggie Viljoen was a scrumhalf who took over from Dawie de Villiers in 1971 and played six Tests. Born in Cape Town on 14 May 1945, he played for Griqualand West, including their 1970 Currie Cup win, and later Eastern Province. He scored tries against France and Australia in 1971 and was part of the unbeaten tour of Australia. He died on 7 August 2023.
