Biography
Attie Baard was a tall eighthman who played in the 8–3 win over Ireland in Dublin on the 1960–61 tour, his only Test, standing in for the injured Doug Hopwood. Born in Kakamas on 17 May 1933, he played for Western Province and Eastern Province and became a medical doctor. He died on 30 April 2009.
