Biography

Morris Zimerman was a fast, powerful wing who played all four Tests on the 1931–32 tour and won every one. Born in Jansenville on 8 June 1911, he made the UCT first team as a first-year student and played for Western Province.

He scored a try in the 8–3 win over Ireland in Dublin. Illness after the tour cut his career short. His cousin Louis Babrow also played for South Africa. He died on 10 January 1992.
