Biography
Kenny Starke was a small, nimble wing with a famous sidestep. Born in Muldersvlei on 18 June 1900 and educated at Paul Roos Gymnasium, he played for Western Province and won four caps against the 1924 British Isles side without losing.
In the final Test at Newlands he scored two tries and a drop goal, 13 points in a 16–9 win, which was then a South African Test record. He later farmed at Muldersvlei. He died on 3 January 1982.
