Biography
Pietie le Roux was a powerful Western Province forward who started out as a wing before finding his place in the pack. Born in Wellington on 22 January 1885 and educated at Paarl Gimnasium and Huguenot in Wellington, he played for Gardens.
He won three caps on the 1906–07 tour, against Ireland, Wales and England, and was never on the losing side. His brother Japie was also in the touring party. He died on 11 July 1954.
